Hey! I’m Alisa!
I grew up in a rule-following culture with the (mistaken) idea that I could earn God’s favor, but after discovering the real message of the Gospel, I swung almost too far into the theology of grace. God’s grace is so good! He also made us habitual beings who are formed by what we do with our bodies and minds. Seeing how transformative liturgy and rhythms have been in my life (especially after having kids!) has led me to Intentionally Ordinary! Here, I explore habit formation from a Christian perspective — talking about everything from reading books and meal planning to taking spiritual retreats and practicing gratitude. We are formed in so many ways, and my deepest desire is that you find rhythms that form you into the image of Jesus, allow you to spend time delighting in the presence of the Father, and are empowered by the Holy Spirit to love others well. Thank you so much for being here!
